Reading Sharing

Casey's reading groups have been presenting their learning toady. One group has been learning a play and working on using expression in their voice.  Two other groups have been reading for information and presenting their ideas on a fishbone or a table. I have been impressed with the level of interest from all readers this week. Keep it up!

Hello Term 3

Welcome back to Pod 2! This term we also welcome some new children to the pod. Some who are here for the term and some who have moved permanently. Here are a few pictures of our first day back.

Literacy Room

The children have been really enjoying all the spelling and formation stations this week. Ka pai kids!

Maori in Pod 2

Today Whaea Mary-Ann has started working in Pod 2. She will be working with a Poi group, a Haka group and a Maori language group. We look forward to seeing what the children learn.

Working on Literacy Goals

I I was really impressed with the self motivated learning going on at Literacy time this morning. The children are making awesome spelling progress.

Getting stuck into Pataitai Stations

The children are continuing to enjoy the variety of action stations in Pod 2. It is great to see children challenging themselves by trying new activities too.
