Domini Park

Tomorrow is our walk to Domini Park. This is a great way to practise the safe walking skills and kerb drill Constable Phil taught us and also a fantastic way to get parents involved in our school activities.

As we are leaving school at 12.00 pm please do not order your children Subway as we will not be at school.

Please send your child with a healthy lunch and a drink bottle. A warm jersey/jacket and good walking will be helpful too and don't forget their high vis vest.

If you are joining us, please be at school around 11.50am.

Getting stuck into Pataitai Stations

The children are continuing to enjoy the variety of action stations in Pod 2. It is great to see children challenging themselves by trying new activities too.

Ball Skills

Today we got out and worked on our large and small ball skills. This is part of our PE program along with PMP.

Grass Heads

Our grass heads are growing grass! That was quick! If you missed out there will be more resources to make one tomorrow in the science lab!

Safe Walking

This week all classes in Pod 2 have participated in safe walking practices in the footpaths around the school. We have practiced the kerb side drill lots. Thanks to Constable Phil and Kirsty.

Maths Games

Room 7 have been learning to play Bingo and play Basic Facts Games.

Growing Beans

The beans the children planted in the window bags are starting to sprout! Come check them out in Room 5.

The children have been learning to order and compare lengths and use a consistent method to measure. Ka pai!!!

Our Weekly Timetable

Thank you to the parents who came along to the Meet the Teacher tonight. It was great to be able to show you around Pod 2 and answer your questions. As promised here is a copy of our weekly plan. The colours refer to a certain teacher. I am yellow,  Carin is pink, Megan green and Kylie blue.  If you have further questions regarding our timetable please feel free to come and talk to one of us.

Measurement in Room 8

This week our maths topic is measurement. There are lots of measurement activities set up along with other number activities. It was great to see lots of engaged children in the number space.
