Our Reading Classes

Today we meet our reading classes and teacher. We will start guided group reading tomorrow. For some children, their reading teacher will be different from their classroom teacher. You can find the children's browsing boxes in the classroom which they read in. The books in this box change every two weeks - we allow for one book a night but it is great for the children see a book multiple times for practice purposes and to build their confidence. If you have any questions about our reading programme please come and speak to us. 

Our First Day in Pod 2

Kia ora all, we have had a great first day back at school today. It was fantastic to see all the smiley faces of our new children and those of our returning children! Everyone enjoyed exploring the different learning stations during Pataitai. We look forward to seeing everyone back tomorrow morning!
